SESA Moonlight is the new white LED exterior side light designed by SESALY, equipment manufacturer specialized in designing and manufacturing light and sound solutions able to provide comfort and safety for buses and coaches.
SESA Moonlight is based on the EL.3PL mechanical design, combined with new & more efficient optics, enabling to increase the light output and illuminate a wider area in order to increase the lighting surface and thus to improve areas accessibility visibility to bus and coach passengers and users.
This white LED light for vehicles’ side lighting can be installed in the same place as the EL.3PL and offers multiple benefits:
- It provides a light output of 900 lumens: x2.3 compared to the EL.3PL
- Thanks to its new optics, it offers a much wider lighting distribution, to secure step areas or side work areas around vehicles and provides light to service doors.
- Its color temperature reaches 4500 Kelvin
- Designed to last, this white LED exterior light has been built to operate over 16,500 hours at 70% of the initial mission profile
- Economical, this white LED light can be installed both on the left and right side of the vehicle
- Robust, it has been designed to operate between -40 and +80°C, to withstand to reverse polarity (ISO 16750-2), overvoltage and undervoltage (ISO 16750-2) and also to withstand to water ingress thanks to its IP69K sealing
- It is composed of an aluminum body painted with black epoxy powder, a polycarbonate (PC) lens and includes a stripped tinned wired output on a 1500mm cable
- Easy to install owing to 2 screws (provided)
- It is ECE-R10 06 (EMC or Electromagnetic Compatibility) and ECE-R118 (Fire smoke) certified
This LED exterior light is also available in red version to indicate the status of a closed door or as ECE-R23 approved maneuver light for a high rear vehicle visibility.
